Sylvester M. Collins is a dynamic business leader and petroleum industry expert who currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Destine Petroleum Service Inc., a Liberian-owned company specializing in the importation and distribution of petroleum products. Based on Bushrod Island, Monrovia, Mr. Collins has transformed Destine Petroleum into a competitive player in the downstream oil and gas sector through strategic leadership, operational efficiency, and a commitment to service excellence.
With over a decade of experience, Mr. Collins began his professional journey in 2014 as Operations Manager at Manyoubah & Son Petroleum Corporation, where he was responsible for logistics, supply chain management, and team coordination. His performance and industry insight earned him the top executive role at Destine Petroleum in 2020. Since then, he has led the company through major growth initiatives, enhanced operational systems, and expanded its market reach across Liberia.
Mr. Collins holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Cuttington University Graduate School and a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Management from the United Methodist University. He has also earned several professional certifications and diplomas from the Liberia Institute of Public Administration (LIPA) in Public Financial Management and Administrative Management, in addition to a Certificate in Computer Science from the YMCA School of Technology.
Known for his strategic thinking, results-driven approach, and strong ethical standards, Mr. Collins is committed to advancing Liberia’s petroleum industry while contributing to national economic growth. He is married and the father of four children.
